Abstract
Purpose: This descriptive study was conducted to investigate the factors that influence meaning in life in nurses who experienced end of life care.

Methods: This study collected data from March 20 to April 30, in 2023, using questionnaires from a sample of 98 nurse. Data were analyzed using Frequencies, Means, Independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression analysis with SPSS 22.0.

Results: Meaning in life had statistically significant correlation with self-efficacy and these factors explained 36.0%. In part of death awareness, ¡®the denial of death¡¯ was the highest, and in the meaning of life, ¡®love experience¡¯ was the highest.

Conclusion: It was confirmed that nurses¡¯ self-efficacy is a important variable that affects the meaning of life. The study's findings suggest that interventions that can improve nurses¡¯ self-efficacy and death perception may help to improve their sense of meaning in life. This is important because a strong sense of meaning in life can help nurses to cope with the stress and challenges of end-of-life care.
